Cheque presented to Jamie Wall fund+Camogie All-Ireland Cup in Grange
12 January, 2015
We took the opportunity to present the proceeds of our Puc Fáda competion to the Friends of Jamie Wall fund and Jamie's father, Michael was on hand to accept same. Michael spoke very well, mixing the serious and the light hearted, and stated that one of Jamie's first wishes would be to get back to the Cúl Camps. He touched upon recent sad times in the Barryroe Parish and also mentioned the fact that Barryroe and Kilbrittain are now in the same division and a meeting is not out of the question. We wish Jamie the very best. Maybe at some time in the future, we'll be cursing Jamie, as he flakes a Barryroe player or get a winning score.
Michael was accompanied by Kilbrittain Secretary Marion Twohig and Treasured Denis Ryan.

Jennifer, on behalf of the camogie club, presented trophies to players who had represented Cork at different levels during the past season.
Clair Sexton who played at Under 18 level.
Maebhdh Sexton at U 16 level.
Rachel Sheehy at U 15 level.
Ciara O'Sullivan at Primary Schools level.
Andrea Tobin at Primary Schools level.
Cork camogie selector Brian and Stats man Niall, with Eimear, Therese, Jennifer, Eleanor and Margret.
I managed a quick chat with Niall who does the stats for the Cork camogie team and it was absolutly fascinating to a geek like me.
The front three are hanging on Jennifer's every word, but there's always one.
All in for the photo.
Slightly Older group.
Extended OLeary family
The Sheehy family
Gillian Noonan Abbey Crafts created this unusual piece for Jennifer to mark the occasion.
Before arriving in Grange, Jennefer dropped in Aunty Ann and Uncle Paddy's house, where grand daughter Emily gave a new meaning to filling the cup.
All together now, AAAHHHH
