End of season Hurling Blitz

Club end of season mixed hurling blitz is planned for Saturday morning, 24th October at 11.00am.
Suggested format as follows: - 4 age groups: under 6, 8, 10 & 12. -
Boys and girls mixed at each age group to provide 4 teams per age group. Last couple of years teams were based on county colours - perhaps we could change it around this year. -
Each team plays each other once in a round robin format so everyone gets 3 games. -
Games to take place simultaneously so 8 pitches required – suggest under 6s, 8s & 12s on main pitch and under 10s up on top pitch. If this is too tight maybe under 12s could go afterwards. -
Piper and parade to start things off. -
Refreshments and food during and afterwards provided by parents. Any suggestions as to how we can improve on the above/last couple of years are welcome. In the meantime, mentors might split their groups into 4 teams. We might meet up this Saturday morning at 10.45am to put teams together and finalise arrangements.
