A few bad quality photos (the photographers hands were cold and he couldn't hold the camera steady!!) from last Friday evenings 'friendly' match between Barryroe and Timoleague Under 10 footballers! It was a novelty for our players as it was their first outing under the lights, but it was the visitors who seemed dazzled in the headlights! Seeking revenge for a sore defeat to the local rivals at a recent blitz in Bandon, the Blues set off from the outset to set the record straight! Wave after wave of attackers in blue rained down on the Timoleague goal. Scores were taken from distance and at close range by a rampant Barryroe. Half time couldn't come quickly enough for the visitors and although some positional changes at half time brought some much-needed scores for Argideen, our boys responded immediately and scored with ease to ensure this tie was well and truly over long before the final whistle.

Eyes now turn to the end of season club blitz next Saturday which is sure to be a great celebration of another season completed successfully. Teams will be paraded around the field by a piper and flag bearer before the action begins. Refreshments will be served in the clubhouse afterwards.
