Guest speaker time and staying fit over the Winter.

10 November, 2015

As you know, at this time of the year, Richard O' Flynn organises a guest speaker to come and talk to the club members.

This time round it's the turn of former Olympic athlete, strength and conditioning coach and trainer to Jimmy Barry Murphy's Cork hurlers, David Matthews to speak to us.

As someone with experience of most major sports, his views on strength and conditioning, among other things, will be fascinating.

David will be in the school in the afternoon of the 8th of December and later will speak in the school hall at 8.00. Refreshments at 7.30..

David Matthews, running for Ireland.

Athletics high performance coach, Tutor, athletics coach at CIT, Former Cork Hurling trainer,  RTE analyst..

I may be wrong, but I think he still holds the Irish 800 metres record.
