Ibane played out a thrilling draw with Castlehaven in the u16A Football Championship played in Ross . Ibane went into this game as complete underdogs but tore into their opponents in the 1st half and were full value for their half time lead of 2-05 to 1-06 the goals coming from Bill Fleming and Sean Holland. In the 2nd half Castlehaven playing with the hill started to get control and looked to be in a good position when they took the lead with less than 5 minutes left ,Ibane hit back with 2 super points to take a 1 point lead with time allmost up however in the last attack Castlehaven equalised so both sides lived to fight another day.
