Ibane won the Minor B West Region Hurling League Final played in Barryroe with a hard earned win over a tough Ballinascarthy side. Ground conditions were heavy as you would expect in November and scores were at a premium in the 1st half, where the major score was an Eoin Lawton goal. It left the half time score 1-04 to 0-02 in favour of Ibane. Bal started the second half in determined fashion + it took a great Conor Madden save to keep them out. There was nothing between the teams in general play but Ibane were able to keep the scoreboard ticking over and this was enough to ensure that they ran out winners 1-08 to 0-03,
