Balinascarthy, 18:30PM

Report for U14 Camogie County League game Friday 25 April @ 6:30pm in Ballinascarthy

Trainers: Dan O’Dwyer
  James Tobin
  Pat Tobin

Result:   Ballinascarthy  3-0  Barryroe 4-2

The weather conditions were horrendous and got worse as the match progressed.  There was rain, wind and hail stones beating down on the girls on their first U14 league game for 2014.

The first half opening score came from Bal, a goal but Barryroe’s Ciara O’Sullivan responded by equalizing from the half forward line and was helped by Roisin Dullea & Andrea Tobin, both very strong in mid field. A goal from Bal closed the first half.  There were two great saves from our goalie, Therese McCarthy in this half.  In the second half, Roisin Dullea scored two beautiful points in succession.  Bal responded with a goal.  But Ciara O’Sullivan was determined to get another score, this time soloing down the pitch and breaking down Bal’s defense, scoring a superb goal.  Barryroe wanted more.  The forwards made every effort to reach that goal mouth and again they had success with Chloe Collins scoring a very accurate goal.  The final score of the game came from Roisin Dullea with the help of Andrea Tobin, another great goal to conclude the match.  Everyone put in a fantastic performance considering the adverse weather.
