A strong wind blew across the pitch and did not help in a game where defences were on top. Barryroe lead 1-04 to 0-2 at the break, the Barryroe goal coming from a David O'Sullivan penalty after Kierán Hurley was pulled down.
The home side's four first half points all came from frees, with Jack Cahalane and Mark Crowley converting.
Mark Crowley cancelled out an early Ardfield second half point and things stayed the same untill an Ardfield goal on the 45 minute mark. Ardfield were on top for a while and eventually pulled level, before a couple of Jack Cahalane frees saw us home.
