Ibane travelled to Ballinspittle to take on the home side in the non-exam hurling league. This was another useful workout for the lads who while beaten played good hurling at times. This is Intermediate championship time and the Ibane players involved with the adult clubs are only being given brief game time which allows the mentors a chance to see the younger players in action. Ibane had the breeze in the 1st half and led at half time 2-06 to 0-05 the goals from Eoin Lawton and Robert Byrnes. The younger lads were brought on for the 2nd half and performed well against an older and bigger Courceys team where the display of Dylan Harrington in goal stood out.
