Ibane were defeated by Bal in the Minor Football league both teams were missing a few with Ibane being affected more so. The teams retired at half time with Bal leading 2-05 to 1-05 Eoghan Sheehy getting the Ibane goal . The 2nd half was all Ballinascarthy with Ibane unable to win their own kickouts and only for goalie Cillian Whelton the margin at the end would have been greater.
