Ibane had to dig very deep to win this U21 B Semi-Final played in Ross, with less than 10 minutes left Kilmacabea led 0-08 to 0-07 and had the advantage of an extra man, things weren't looking good for Ibane. It was then Ibane stood up and were counted, a Jack Cahalane free a great Dave Kiely point and another good score from Jack gave Ibane the win 0-10 to 0-08. The pitch in Ross was heavy after all the rain and scores were hard to come by and the teams retired at half time level at 0-05 each the Ibane scores from Mark Crowley Gerry Crowley Eoin Lawton and Oisin Dowling. There was nothing between the teams in the 2nd half however it was Kilmacabea who lead 0-08 to 0-07with 50 minutes gone the Ibane points from John Whelton and Jack Cahalane, then came the strong finish which meant Ibane were through to the final where they will play a strong Bandon team who have regraded down from A this year. This final is due to be played in the next week or 2.
