Ibane claimed the points in the Minor Hurling game played in Dunmanway. On a windy evening Ibane had the use of it in the 1st half and led at half time by 0-10 to 0-01 with the points coming from Micheal Whelton and Darragh O Donovan. It was a different story in the 2nd half as Maguires had the wind advantage and reduced the gap down to 2 points 0-10 to 1-05 however 3 late points from Micheal sealed the win.
