On a cold night in Barryroe the home team came out on top in this Junior B league game by 4-08 to 3-05 Kilbrittain started well with the breeze and let by 0-3 to 0-01 but goals by Brendan Coleman + Gearoid Whelton gave Barryroe a 2-01 to 0-03 half time lead .Another Brendan Coleman goal followed by a Kieran Griffin point put the lead at 3-02 to 0-03 Kilbrittain hit back with a goal of their own but Barryroe responded with a goal from Gearoid Whelton to leave the score 4-03 to 1-05 .Barryroe streched the lead to 9 with points from Daniel O Driscoll + Brendan Coleman but the concession of 2 goals brought KIlbrittain back into the game which Barryroe finished better with 2 points leaving the final score 4-08 to 3-05.
