On Saturday, April 20th, in sun-drenched Aghamilla, the Barryroe U9 & U10 footballers launched their 2013 football blitz campaign.
During two hours of non-stop action, Barryroe were represented by a large squad of talented and enthusiastic players.
Barryroe fielded three 9 a side teams. Each team played three games, nine games in total, which ensured that all players had plenty of game time and the opportunity to put into practice all the skills they diligently practice in training each week.
The blitz was well organized and smoothly executed by Kevin O’Donovan, West Cork games development, with all games kicking off on schedule and played in an enjoyable & competitive spirit.
The next blitz will see the Hurlers in action on May 18th , venue to be confirmed.
