Ibane played Kilbree on a beautiful sunny evening in Barryroe. Ibane were quicker to settle and led at half time on a scoreline of 1-06 to 0-02. Kilbree started the second half with more determination and added some early scores. Ibane replied with some scores of their own. A goal in the last minute reduced the margin to the bare minimum but Ibane repelled two late attacks and held on to win by one point.
