Ibane qualified for the final of the minor B West Hurling final with this hard earned win over Ballinascarthy played in Clonakilty. This game was very evenly balanced at half time with Ibane leading by 0-08 to 0-06. After the restart Ibane put daylight between the teams with a Daniel O'Driscoll goal and superbly led by Joe Sheehan they started to get on top but couldnt put it on the scoreboard , Bal never gave up even though they were down to 14 men and it took a late O Driscoll goal to seal the victory.
