The U8s busy schedule continued last Saturday morning in sunny and scenic Ardfield with another football blitz. Team 1 played their hearts out against Timoleague, Carbery Rangers and Clonakilty while Team 2 tested their skills against tough opponents from Castlehaven and near neighbours Timoleague and Clonakilty. Once again displaying great skill (in particular tackling and handpassing) the lads had a very enjoyable morning. Next weekend sees the boys make the short trip to Ballinascarthy for a hurling blitz. Special word of thanks to the St. James club for organising the blitz and to our players and their parents for their great commitment – it’s been a busy couple of weeks.
