The U8 footballers rounded off their football season in style at the Monster Blitz Finale at Ahamilla last Saturday morning in glorious weather. Team 1 played Bantry, Kilbrittain and Clondrohid while Team 2 lined out against Castlehaven, Bantry and Clonakilty. After the games, the players met Cork football star Michael Hurley and were presented with medals in recognition of their great efforts during the year. The standard of football has improved hugely since our first outing in Kilbrittain last April and we’ve had plenty of fun along the way.
Thank you to all the parents for their great support, help and co-operation during the season – we hope you’ve enjoyed it too.
