Barryroe Junior B Camogie team got off to a good start to their league campaign with a win over Na Piarsaigh in Sean Og’s home turf on Wednesday evening April 5th. Both teams were slow to start, the lack of pitch time due to the inclement weather showing in the 1st half. The home team were up a point at half time on a score of 1-03 to 0-05. However, Barryroe found their stride in the 2nd half and finished strongly on a scoreline of 3-12 to 2-04. This is a positive start to the camogie year for Barryroe and they have every intention to continue to improve as the league progresses.
