Ibane were beaten in their final game in the U18 Hurling League by Courceys in Ballinaspittle. The sides were evenly matched in the first half with Courseys ahead by 1-09 to 1-08, Luke Murphy getting the Ibane goal. In the second half Courceys took over and soon led by 3-14 to 1-09. Ibane fought back and goals by Daire Walsh and Jack Twomey reduced the deficit however it was the home side who finished better to win by 3-19 to 3-11.
