On Tuesday 25th Inniscarra played host to Barryroe in their 3rd Junior league game of the season. Barryroe were without some of their regular players due to college commitments as well as a packed full schedule of football, rugby and minor camogie games. Barryroe started the game strong and had plenty of action up front from the get-go. Some wasted opportunity, but also some well taken scores saw them leading comfortably at half time, 2-04 to 0-3. However, Inniscarra emerged a fired-up outfit in the second half and outclassed Barryroe at every level, finishing on a scoreline of 3-13 to 2-07. It was most definitely a game of two halves and a tough lesson for all involved. Best for Barryroe on the night was Sarah Harte who put in a trojan performance at midfield, Tara Fleming was resilience personified at centre back and Caoimhe Doyle had a strong 1st half performance in goal.
