Ibane were beaten in the Semi-Final of the U21A Hurling Championship played in Enniskeane .Ibane played well and led by 0-11 to 0-04 after 25 mins but 2 quick fire Newcestown goals turned the game on it's head and they entered the break leading 2-07 to 0-12. The 2nd period belonged to the Newcestown lads and they won on as core of 3-17 to 0-19.
