Ibane were beaten by a good Carrigaline side in their third group game in the U17 Hurling championship. The home side were fired up for this game and went into an early lead Ibane struck back helped by a Luke Murphy goal and trailed at half time by 1-09 to 1-07. Ibane tried hard but were never able to get on level terms and the home side pulled away in the last few minutes to win by 1-20 to 1-16.
