Ibane qualified for the semi-final of the U17 Football championship with a 4 point victory over Kilmurry played in Timoleague. Ibane were well in control in the first half and led by 2-04 to 0-01 at half time. Two goals from Luke Murphy being the major scores. Kilmurry fought back well in the second half and had the deficit reduced to 3 points. Ibane steadied the ship and a couple of late points gave them the win by 2-08 to 1-07.
