Ibane had a comfortable win over Barney in their final group game in the U17 Hurling Championship. Ibane were the better team from the off, a James Crowley goal giving them the half time lead of 1-12 to 0-05. Ibane never let up in the second period and two further goals from Matthew Power and Luke Murphy left them winning out on a score of 3-26 to 1-11.
