Barryroe were beaten by Bantry in their second game of the group stage of the Junior B Championship. Bantry were the better team throughout and led at half time 0-14 to 1-03, Florence Wycherley with the Barryroe goal.
Bantry stayed on top in the latter period but Barryroe to their credit kept fighting till the end losing on a score of 2-08 to 1-26, Florence getting his and the teams second goal.
