Ibane had a narrow win over Clonakilty in the second round of the U21 Football Championship.There was nothing between the sides in this game with the teams level at half time 0-06 each. The important goal came from Ibane early in the second half when Jack Lawton was at hand to send the ball to the net which gave Ibane a bit of breathing space. The home team came back and as the game entered injury time there was only a point between the teams but the Ibane defence stood firm to secure the win 1-09 to 0-11.
