Ibane won this replayed Carbery U21 A Football championship semi-final when they got the better of a strong Carbery Rangers team played in Enniskeane. Conditions as to be expected weren't great at this time of year and Ibane having been against the wind led at half time 0-03 to 0-02. Ibane stretched their lead early in the 2nd half , Ross didn't go away and the gap was back down to a single point with 5 to play, some good defending kept the margin at that and 2 very good points allowed Ibane to win by 0-09 to 0-06
