Ibane Gaels are through to the semi-final of the u21 A football championship after a great win in the first round against a strong Castlehaven outfit.
Ibane decided to play with the wind and with points from Olan 2 frees and 1 from play put them head 3 points to no score. Points from Fergal, Tomas, and Daniel Moloney extended the Ibane lead and they went in at the break 6 points to 2.
Ibane started the second half brightly and was very disciplined in their defense, 2 frees from Olan and a goal from Sean Walsh put them into a commanding lead, the game finished 1-8 to 0-5. Ibane deserving winners.
