Ibane Gaels advanced to the final of the Carbery U21 A Football championship with a hard-fought win over Carbery Rangers. Ibane led at halftime by 2-05 to 1-06 after Ross had gone into an early lead. Ibane goals coming from Olan O'Donovan and Daniel Moloney. Ross started the second half well and went into a two-point lead. It was then Ibane knuckled down and playing with great spirit tore into the game and kicked some good points to win by 2-11 to 2-08.
