Ibane Gaels were well beaten in the final of the U21 A Football Final played in Dunmanway under glorious sunshine on Sunday last. The concession of four first-half goals proved too much of a hurdle to overcome. At half time it read 4-06 to 1-04 in favour of Bantry, Sean Walsh with the Ibane goal. Ibane couldn't get the goal they needed to mount a serious challenge in the second half and it finished 4-10 to 1-09.
