U12s head to Pairc Ui Chaoimh

05 June, 2018

On Saturday last our U12 hurlers made the pilgrimage to Pairc Ui Chaoimh for the Munster Senior Hurling Championship tie between Cork and Limerick. En route, they played Bandon’s second string in a well fought and exciting challenge game. In circumstances not dissimilar to the senior game later on, the latter stages of the game saw both sides pushing for the winning score but perhaps fittingly it ended honours even: 1-07 apiece. Thanks to Bandon for facilitating us with the game, venue and referee.

A great evening followed in Cork GAA’s new home as the lads cheered on the home side in an enthralling game of hurling between two well matched teams. The venue, weather, atmosphere and game combined to make this a memorable and enjoyable experience for the lads – let’s hope there are many more days like this to come.

Panel: Aaron Fleming, Colm Kirby, Brian Sheehy, George Russell (capt.), Zac Farrell, Daniel Moloney, Donnacha Coakley, Luke Murphy, Killian Kirby, Sean O’Flynn, Michael O’Donovan, Dermot Dineen, Se Gannon, Alphie Walsh, Dylan Kelly, Kelan Casey, Conrad Murphy, Jamie Collins, Cillian Coakley.

Thanks to Danny for pics and report.
