C'ship hurling this Sunday

BEST WISHES

Barryroe GAA send their best wishes to the Intermediate hurlers and management team ahead of their round 3 championship game against Russell Rovers at Passage West, Sunday 4pm.

To maintain interest in this year's championship Barryroe must win. Group A is a group with abundant possibilities. Three of the four games have been drawn, meaning Ballygarvan, who beat Barryroe last time, are top with three points while Kilbrittain and Russell Rovers have two each and Barryroe have one. The winners of the Ballygarvan-Kilbrittain game will advance while Russell Rovers are guaranteed progression if they overcome Barryroe. A win for Barryroe may be enough for them, but not if Kilbrittain win – they would lose out to Ballygarvan on head-to-head record in that case.

To comply with Government and GAA guidelines unfortunately no spectators can attend. To cater for interest in the game we have arranged for the game to be streamed and a link will be posted to our Facebook page on Sunday. Barryroe GAA thanks you for your understanding and continued support, but hopefully sooner rather than later, normal service will resume. In the meantime please keep yourself and your loved ones safe and well.
