Munster Football Final

20 November, 2020

The Cork Senior football team will host Tipperary on Sunday in the Munster Senior Football Final. Cork will be looking to claim their first Munster Football title in eight years while it is Tipperary's third provincial final this century while they've not managed to win the cup since all the way back in 1935.

On another note the Premier are marking the 100th anniversary of Bloody Sunday and will be paying homage to Michael Hogan. Hogan was killed while representing his county after British Forces went into Croke Park and fired during a challenge game with Dublin. Fourteen people were killed in total while up to 100 were injured. As a mark of respect Tipperary will be donning a special green and white kit just like the one they wore in Croker that day.

Lining out for Tipperary is a familar face and we wish Barryroe GAA member Robbie Kiely all the best as he lines out with his native county. We also wish the Cork footballers the very best of luck!

The game is live on RTE with coverage commencing at 1pm.
