Timmy Sheehy Cup 2021

On the first Sunday of the year 20 teams set off from the creamery cross in pursuit of the Timmy Sheehy Cup for 2021. In the final tally two teams had made Birdies Wall in a record 24 shots necessitating a playoff to determine a winner. A tense playoff resulted in the local intermediate hurlers of Adam McSweeney, Donal O'Buchalla, Ronan Fleming and James Moloney emerging victorious over Ciaran Coakley, Michael Reilly, Cal O'Mahoney.

Well done to all for taking part.

Earlier in the day the young boys and girls of Barryroe set off from Páirc Uí Mhurchú towards the Church to wield the camans in the underage poc fada. Thanks to all mentors / parents for stewarding.
