Congratulations to County Board P.R.O. Tracey Kennedy, who against all the odds, has been elected as County Board Vice Chairman. The Vice Chairman normally is the Chairman elect, so can we look forward to a female chairman in three years time ?

Meanwhile back at the ranch, there was a decent crowd at the A.G.M. and Chairman Seán De Barry, expressed the hope that people would speak their minds at the meeting. That produced , (in my opinion), a better than average meeting, with some interesting contributions from the floor.
The only change of officership was the standing down of Treasurer John Joe Holland. He initally intended staying for three years, but stayed on for four. He is being replaced by Michael Coleman and he leaves with the Club showing a profit on the year, so no pressure Michael. My main dealing with J.J. was when we were changing the Club website for something more suitable and he was very supportive.
