Dunmanway provided the venue, and glorious weather too, for an under 8 football blitz on Saturday morning last. Barryroe sent 2 teams into battle with Team 1 (Callum Collins, Jason Sweetnam, Paraic Coakley, Joshua Twomey, Anthony Hunt, Daniel Morse & JJ Flynn) playing Argideen Rangers, Sam Maguires & Newcestown whilst Team 2 (Harrison Twomey, Conrad Murphy, Tadhg Walsh, Liam O’Sullivan, Fionn Harrigan & Ollie Hunt with help from a few lucky opposition players) played Newcestown, Sam Maguires & Ballinascarthy. Despite the very warm weather and no doubt a tiring 2 weeks off school for the Easter holidays, the boys put in a great effort, noticeably improving over the course of the morning. Well done all.
