Having made the long and scenic journey to Kealkil, Barryroe just came up short in this hard fought and entertaining U12 hurling league game. Barryroe played some lovely ground hurling at times and showed great fight and spirit to stay in the hunt right up to the final whistle. Whilst not are their best, the Barryroe lads put in a solid effort overall - particularly in the second half - with goalkeeper Zac Farrell, corner backs Colm Kirby and Ben O’Dwyer and forwards Luke Murphy and Jamie Collins playing particularly well on the night.
