Ibane Gaels 1-13 Sarsfield 1-19

Ibane Gaels travelled to Carrigaline on Monday night last to play Sarsfields in the Premier 1 hurling championship Quarter Final. Both teams settled well and retired at the short whistle at 0-07 apiece. The boys from the West upped the anti in the second half and with ten minutes to go were ahead 1-10 to 0-13. Sarsfields never panicked and show their composure gained from playing at this high level with many years. They rattled in a goal to put their noses in front and added on further points to advance to the next round 1-19 to 1-13. Ibane can learn from this defeat and the experience gained can only benefit them in the future.
