On Thursday last, Clon continued on their winning ways at home when they defeated Ibane’s second string under 14 footballers 2-9 to 2-3 after a great game of football. This afforded an opportunity for some of the less well known under 14’s to show their footballing prowess. David Holland, Luca Aerts, Mark O’Sullivan, Gavin O’Donovan, Liam Deasy, Tiernan Hayes and Brian Murphy gave top class performances but Clonakilty with a number of outstanding footballers were deserving winners on the night.
