Mary O'Neill R.I.P.

13 June, 2025

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of the passing of Mary O'Neill. A great supporter of the Club who always had the blue and navy flags flying when Club Championship rolled around. Witty, understated, 'in the background yet center stage' Mary always warmly greeted our members. The Club extends its deepest sympathy to the Dineen families, and our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

On June 13th, 2025, peacefully, in the wonderful care of Clonakilty Community Hospital, Mary, (nee Hurley), beloved wife of the late Dermot, dear sister to Teresa (Spencer), John Joe, Michael, Sheila (Nyhan), Philomena (Kingston), Finbarr and the late Joan (O'Mahony) and Donal. Sadly missed by her loving family, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, the O'Neill family, and especially the Dineen family including John, Joanna, Sarah, Elena, Conn, and Dermot, kind neighbours, and her many great loyal friends and customers.
