Barryroe had a good win over Plunketts in their Junior C Football Championship opening game. Barryroe led by 0-06 to 0-02 at halftime. A second-half goal from Ross O'Donovan was the big score that settled the game in the home sides favour, Ross, Brian, Aidan, Gavin and Sean were among the point scorers
