Ibane Gaels proved much too strong for a game Fermoy side played in Barryroe on Sunday evening. Ibane led at half time 3-11 to 1-03 with the aid of a strong breeze at their backs playing into the dressing room goal. The highlights of the match were two spectacular overhead strikes from Adam McSweeney at the edge of the square which gave the Fermoy goalie no chance on either occasion.
