Saturday 27th August saw the Barryroe U10 Camogie team take part in the Declan Crowley U10 Blitz in Ballinhassig.
First up was a league format and the girls had great victories against Ballygarvan and Bishopstown which saw us safely through to the Shield semi-final. There we came us against a strong Glen Rovers team and, in a game much closer than the result, we went down 4 – 2.
Well done to all the panel for a great mornings work – Roisin O’Callaghan, Saoirse Whelton, Mia O’Driscoll, Aoibhinn McKeogh, Leah Fleming Hand, Ellen O’Donovan, Alannah Sexton, Ciardha McCarthy, Aimy Marot, Aisling Kilkelly, Ella McSweeney, Meabh O’Sullivan, Riona Collins and Sarah Harte.
