Our girls in blue put in a rock solid performance to be outright winners of this match, gradually overcoming a gallant Bishopstown and shutting down the opposition scores especially in the second half.

Jessica McCarthy opened the scoring with a point from play and Andrea Tobin then pointing from a free. Bishopstown replied with two points, closing the first half 2 points apiece.

Our Barryroe girls upped their game in the second half moving on the ball quicker. Jess opened the scoring with a goal & a point. Ciara O’Sullivan followed this with a point. Again, Jess went on to score another goal. Our hosts responded with a point. Jess cancelled that out. The final scores came from Maeve Whelton & Chloe Collins each scoring a goal.
