In a game of 2 halves it was Ibane who came out on top in this football league game played in Timoleague. It was Kilbrittain who were well in control in the first half and led at half time 3-05 to 0-03. Ibane had the wind in the second half and gradually cut into the Kilbrittain lead helped by a Ronan Fleming goal and then by another major from a Liam Colberth free which enabled them to lead with a few minutes remaining and victory was assured with a Ronan O'Sullivan point to win 2-13 to 3-08.
