Ibane Gaels 3-08 St. Nick's 0-06
On Saturday morning last Ibane Gaels defeated St. Nick's to qualify for the Carrigaline Court Hotel U15 P2 Football Championship final. A first half performance where Ibane played into the dressing room goals and where they were backed by a strong breeze saw them retire 2-07 to 0-01 in front at the short whistle. After surviving the initial second half onslaught from the visitors, Ibane settled and a sublime Lorcan O'Leary goal midway through the second half proved the decisive score as they ran out comfortable winners 3-08 to 0-06.
Ibane now progress to the final where they will take on St. Finbarr's provisionally fixed for next weekend, keep an eye on website for further details during the week.
