With the schools back last week, there was a big crowd in Ardfield on Saturday morning for an Under 8 football blitz. Our boys played some lovely football with the passing and great teamwork being the most encouraging feature.
Team 1 played Sam Maguires, Ballinascarthy and Kilmeen while Team 2 played Clonakilty, Bandon and Carbery Rangers. The lads’ busy schedule continues with 5 more blitzes over the next 6 weekends with hurling next up this Saturday in Enniskeane.
Team 1: JJ Flynn, Sean O’Connor, Conrad Murphy, Ollie Hunt, Callum Collins, Harrison Twomey, Paraic Coakley, Tadgh Walsh.
Team 2: Riley O’Donovan, Conor Fleming, Jason Sweetnam, Joshua Twomey, Fionn Harrigan, Daniel Morse, Michael O’Connor, Robert McCarthy, Anthony Hunt.
