Ibane Gaels 1-10 St. Colums 3-07
Ibane Gaels travelled to Kealkil to take on the home side in the first round of the U17 Football Round Robin Championship. Colums started strongly and led by 1-03 to 0-01 after ten minutes. Ibane got on top in the second quarter to leave a goal between the sides at half time 1-05 to 0-05. The second half was a close contest with good football played by both sides, with time running out Colums led by a goal and despite the best efforts of the Ibane lads they were unable to get the equaliser which they would have deserved on the night.
