CARBERY SCÓR NA nÓg
A very successful day at the Carbery Scór na nÓg final, held in Dunmanway on Sunday 27th February. After a two year break, everyone was excited and delighted for the first of the Scór competitions. Barryroe had entries in The Quiz, Solo Singing, Instrumental Music and Rectitation.
Huge congratulations to Ellen O'Riordan, Luke Murphy, Ciaradh McCarthy and Ben O'Dwyer who won the Quiz competition. They will go on to Éire Óg on the 12th of March to represent Barryroe at the County Final.
Congratulations to all the musicians and singers who took part today - they did Barryroe and themselves proud and most importantly, they had fun along the way. Barryroe was represented by Caoimhe Ni Bhuachalla, Cliona O'Brien, Nicole Sweetnam, Jill McCarthy and Lucy O'Flynn.
We would like to thank everyone involved in Carbery Scór for a well organised competition and all the participants from West Cork for providing an afternoon of wonderful music and entertainment.
All roads lead to Éire Óg GAA Pavilion in Ovens on March 12th at 7pm for the County Final.
